This role will support day\-to\-day accounting operations, ensuring that financial records are accurate, timely, and comply with accounting standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Maintain accurate accounting records, including the preparation of journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments while ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash flow management.
Assist with payroll processing and related statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, assisting with tax reporting and filing.
Support in the preparation and submission of monthly GST returns (where applicable).
Help with month\-end and year\-end closing processes and preparation of audit documentation.
Assist in internal financial reporting, providing variance analysis, and helping with budgeting and forecasting.
Collaborate with finance teams in Beijing and Singapore to ensure accurate reporting and coordination of financial matters across subsidiaries.
Support the preparation of carbon calculation reports, working with the relevant teams to gather the necessary financial data.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
**Required Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2\-3 years minimum experience in accounting or finance
Familiarity with accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger maintenance.
Proficiency in accounting softwares and strong Excel skills.
Knowledge of GST or VAT regulations in Malaysia and experience in tax filing.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive work approach.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
