• Job Overview:

    This role will support day\-to\-day accounting operations, ensuring that financial records are accurate, timely, and comply with accounting standards.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Maintain accurate accounting records, including the preparation of journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    • Process invoices, receipts, and payments while ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
    • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash flow management.
    • Assist with payroll processing and related statutory filings.
    • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, assisting with tax reporting and filing.
    • Support in the preparation and submission of monthly GST returns (where applicable).
    • Help with month\-end and year\-end closing processes and preparation of audit documentation.
    • Assist in internal financial reporting, providing variance analysis, and helping with budgeting and forecasting.
    • Collaborate with finance teams in Beijing and Singapore to ensure accurate reporting and coordination of financial matters across subsidiaries.
    • Support the preparation of carbon calculation reports, working with the relevant teams to gather the necessary financial data.
    • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

    **Required Qualifications:**

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2\-3 years minimum experience in accounting or finance
    • Familiarity with accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger maintenance.
    • Proficiency in accounting softwares and strong Excel skills.
    • Knowledge of GST or VAT regulations in Malaysia and experience in tax filing.
    • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive work approach.
    • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
