Equipment Engineer (Manufacturing/ SMT/ PCBA)

We are seeking a **Equipment Engineer** to join the **startup team** at our new Malaysia operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring production excellence, contributing to new product launches, and supporting high\-volume manufacturing aligned with global standards.

**Responsibilities:**

• Install, configure, and maintain **manufacturing equipment** (e.g., SMT machines, reflow ovens, AOI, testers, conveyors).
  
• Ensure **equipment uptime** through preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  
• Monitor machine performance and conduct **diagnostics and root cause analysis** for equipment failures.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers or OEMs for **technical support, spare parts**, and service contracts.
  
• Develop and maintain **equipment documentation**: manuals, calibration logs, maintenance records, and PM schedules.
  
• Collaborate with Process and Production teams to **optimize equipment settings** and support continuous improvement.
  
• Support **equipment qualification and validation** for new tools, lines, and production expansion.
  
• Ensure compliance with **EHS regulations, factory safety standards**, and cleanroom protocols (if applicable).
  
• Participate in **cost\-saving and efficiency improvement projects** related to equipment utilization and automation.
  

**Requirements:**

• Degree/Diploma in **Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering**.
  
• 2\+ years’ experience as an **Equipment or Maintenance Engineer** in a high\-volume electronics manufacturing environment.
  
• Solid understanding of **SMT/PCBA equipment**, jigs, fixtures, and test setups.
  

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: RM4,000\.00 \- RM6,000\.00 per month
