• **BASIC FUNCTIONS:**

    Responsible for the welcoming and departing of hotel guest in a courteous and efficient manner. Process all payments according to establish hotel procedures. Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry. Personal Associates is also to be on rotation being a concierge. Overall function, to provide a personalized service by eventually becoming a BUTLER.

    **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

    · Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English and /or any foreign language with guests, visitors, management and co\-workers to their fullest understanding, both in person and on the telephone.

    · Ability to provide legible communication and directions.

    · Ability to input and access data in the computer.

    · Ability to understand guest inquires and provide responses.

    · Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Front Desk and by telephone.

    · Ability to remain professional and courteous with demanding or difficult guests or situations, in order, to turn them to the positive.

    · Ability to focus on the guest needs remaining calm and courteous.

    · Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.

    · Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.

    · Ability to work well under pressure on any arrivals and/or departures within any given period of time.

    · Ability to focus attention on details.

    · Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.

    · Ability to ensure security of guest room access.

    · Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time.

    · Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co\-workers as part of a team.

    · Ability to practice aggressive hospitality.

    · Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment to ensure an excellent work relationship with other departments and to ensure the guest expectations.

    · Ability to work without direct supervision

    · Ability to maintain excellent guest relations.

    · Ability to ensure that all special guest needs and expectations are met and exceeded in concert with the Team Leader and Duty Manager

    · Ability to follow posted scheduled.

    · Ability to maintain excellent grooming and dress codes.

    · Receive, store and deliver luggage and mail for guest.

    · Ability to go beyond the miles and wow guest by being able to carry unusual requests such as searching for hard\-to\-find items.
